When a star's core 1,44 times heavier than our Sun runs out of fusion fuel, it explodes as a supernova. According to a computer simulation run by researchers at the University of Arizona, the last cry of such a celestial body produces an intense sound wave, that roughly corresponds the fundamental middle C in Western music system. In space, no one can hear you scream, but we carry pieces of the bootleg recording within us in every atom that weighs in more than iron.
