Deep Europe goes Moabit » Mika Meskanen

John hooked me up with mi_ga, a Lithuanian net.artist living in Berlin and so I went to the opening party of his Ascii carpet project in Moabit. There was a carpet on the wall filled with raw ASCII from a web page containing predictions by NASA for 2012 transit of Venus. Met a lot of great people from Deep Europe and South America even. Most of them were involved in International School of New Media in Lübeck, but not all.
