We took a week-end trip to the Baltic Sea. Namely to the island of Rügen. We set up a tent on the beach at Prora - a colossal resort originally built by Nazis for 20000 workers on holiday. I say allotment gardens were a mild conspiracy by 19th century factory owners compared to this. Most of the 4,5 kilometre long complex is empty, but there are allegedly 35 museums, some artist studios, a hostel and a Miami Vice disco.
